Stut­tgart–Ulm rail­way pro­ject

The new long-distance train station at the Trade Fair/Airport campus is currently scheduled to open in December 2026. Trains from and to Stuttgart and Ulm will be able to stop there. The travel time from the city center to the Stuttgart trade fair will then be reduced to six minutes (previously around 27 minutes).

From May 3 to 6, 2025, an outstanding medical event took place in Stuttgart: the 17th Congress of the European Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (ESPO). For the first time in the history of this renowned professional society, the event was held in Germany – a significant milestone for both the international expert audience composed of 1,100 participants from 69 countries and for Stuttgart as a congress location.
