The Theaterhaus Stuttgart is one of the most innovative cultural projects in Europe with a unique mixture of art, sport and social management. A well received and honoured concept: Awarding of the Hans-Peter-Stihl-Prize 2004 to Werner Schretzmeier and the Theaterhaus team for services in promoting the Stuttgart region.
A successful programme mixture of plays (permanent international ensemble) and dance (GAUTHIER DANCE Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart), jazz, literature, rock and pop music, cabaret, comedy, political discussions and sports events all characterise this venue.
The floor area of 2,500 sq.m. / 26,910 sq.ft. includes four auditoriums of different sizes, a sports hall, rehearsal rooms, workshops and a two-storey foyer, a restaurant and a beer garden. Theaterhaus Stuttgart is a centre of creativity, fantasy and innovation — an ideal place for events, congresses and conferences.
