“walking tour through the Bohnenviertel - a little bit of everything”
price: from € 150.00
During our extensive walking tour in the evening you will see, hear, feel and taste the “Bohnenviertel” (bean district) - a typical Swabian district in the beautiful city of Stuttgart. You will listen to stories about historical events, reach into little bags to feel typical items related to Stuttgart, and taste a small arrangement of authentic swabian snacks.
During the 16th century the district “Bohnenviertel” was inhabited by the poor people of Stuttgart who mainly ate legumes. Therefore this part of town is called the “district of the bean”. Due to its original charm which – in spite of all redevelopment – is still present, the district is highly frequented by the in-crowd. In its small alleys you will find a great variety of bars, cafés, little boutiques and antique shops.
